About my artwork...
My work is mixed media, including collage, decoupage, hand-painting, clippings, found art, and more. I use acrylic paint and watercolor, and I'm always creating abstract beachscapes. My pieces are pretty raw and honest, as you can see here. I love being inspired by the beauty in everyday items, and I weave in tags, wrappers, wrapping paper, labels, seashells, and anything that grabs my eye with its sparkle. In addition to collage and painting, I also upcycle furniture and make beaded jewelry. I hope to venture into other crafts, such as sewing and paper-making too. I am also a miniaturist, and I love creating microcosms and tiny scenes. Someday, I would love to have a design brand, but for now, I'm just a hobbyist who likes to add jewels to pretty much everything!
